Ryan is still readjusting from his strange sleep schedule from this this past weekend, so he went to bed at 7:30 last night, and woke up at 10 this morning! I was shocked! And on a bonus side note, we are now binky free for 4 days now, and I am just amazed at all his new vocabulary!
This afternoon I decided that we needed to get out of the house because we were just tired of being housebound in the rain, again. So I thought well a trip to the Children's Museum sounded like a good idea, so that's where we headed.
The first thing he does now when we get there is run upstairs to play with the trains.
He is getting to the point where he thinks everything is his, so he had some lessons today in learning to share. He didn't do too badly, and I think it helped some that there were other kids there his age learning the same thing. Monkey-see, monkey-do sort of idea.He discovered today that the little video section where you can push a button and learn about marine life, has a section on birdies. He sat right down to watch it!

And of course he had to stop at the Mail House to make a quick phone call.

Anywho, he had a great time and spent the most of his time playing upstairs in the birth-3 year old section where the trains were, except today he actually went into one of the two rooms off of the side.
He liked these boxes because they squeaked pretty loudly when you opened them.

His new favorite thing to do lately is to play with lightswitches, so he was excited to be able to play with one as much as he wanted to here.

We were only there for about an hour and then they were closing but Ryan really didn't want to leave. So we had to leave kicking and screaming. But hey, we weren't the only ones leaving that way. Ah, such is life with a 2 year old sometimes :)
