I got a call last night that I didn't need to babysit today, so I figured I would see if Sara were available to get the kids together one last time before she goes on her business trip, and then we go camping.
Originally she was planning on taking Aubrey to the zoo, but she forgot she had an appointment, so we decided to go to the park in Dover after her appointment was over.
Jessica was able to come with us since she had brought her computer over to have Sean take a look at it.
The kids were on the swings most of the time while we were there. Ryan used to not want to go on the swings at all, but now that he sees Aubrey doing it, he wants to do it too.
We decided to try to convince them to play on the slides for a change of pace. We found it easier to do when we went down the slides too. Even then Ryan wasn't interested. He still likes climbing the stairs best :)
Buut then Auntie Jess stole him and went down with him, and he liked that.
We decided then the kids needed a snack and drinks, so we headed in the direction of the tables. Ryan wasn't ready to go, but I still think its a cute picture of Ryan and I. Even though he is scowling at me, lol!
It was such a muggy day outside, and I think Ryan was still pooped from yesterday, so we weren't there long before he was melting down, poor boy. He was really upset because Aubrey wanted some of his blueberries. He was very, very upset that I was making him share. Even though he had been eating her strawberries, it didn't matter. This boy didn't want to share and let everyone know about it.
Aubrey tried to comfort him. Here she is saying "It's ok Ryan, it's ok."
