We decided to get Ryan a new bedding set so that he would have a flat sheet as well as a comforter that he could pull up too if he wanted. We were going to try to stick with his cars and trucks theme that we used for his crib set but they only made twin bedding. So after some searching, we found what we think will be a great addition to his big boy bed :

Super Cute! You will have it for another baby should you need it! The bed pictured with the bedding is the bed Sydney has. We got it used for 50 bucks...Her bedding is a sleaping bag with a fitted sheet. Glad to see Ryan is off such a great start. Waiting for more adjusting stories. Is he adjusted or still a little weird about it?
Yeah we liked the wooden bed so much better than the expensive cheesy plastic beds that were everywhere else. It just seemed so much studier, plus it was $55, which wasn't bad at all.
The last few nights he had been doing beautifully, but tonight he fought it so badly. I also think he is starting to wean down naps too, he doesn't take one every day, and today was a day he didn't take one. So I thought, awesome, should be cake to get him to sleep tonight. Wrong!
I put him down at his usual 7:30 and he just now fell asleep at 9:15. It has only been taking me about 45 minutes the other two nights. But I ended up going back into his room at 9 because he was so darn upset, and when I got there, he had pulled the three books I had just read to him out and put it in the chair in his room and he had a death grip on me, and wouldn't let me leave his side. Once I got him back to bed and I kind of snuggled with him, he was out. So I don't know. I haven't had to do that so far, but I wonder if it is because he is teething, and maybe that is really bothering him.
You found great bedding set for kids room!! Jungle themed bedding set is looking fantastic!! I love its color combination!!
