Bike Riding

Yesterday when I got to Nico and Ellie's I saw that Carolyn had set up her bike with the bike trailer. It wasn't long after Ellie got home that she asked if we wanted to go on a bike ride, and that I could use her mom's bike and Ryan could ride in the trailer. So that's exactly what we did on the first 90 degree day of the year. It was hot, but it was nice outside with the wind blowing as we rode down the neighboring streets. Ryan LOVED it!

So today we got there again, and the first thing Ryan did when he got out of the car was go and climb into the trailer! Silly boy! I told him we had to wait until Ellie got home from school before we could go, but I was sure she would want to go. And I was right :)




So we rode up the street, and then took a left and went down the quiet little road. It is such a nice ride, very little traffic. Ellie was content to ride ahead of me, which made it easier for me to keep an eye on her. While we were riding along, we heard Ryan singing away, he just absolutely loved it. And I was loving it too!


We got down to a little farm on the road that had some horses and we just stopped to have some water and enjoy the animals. They are so beautiful, and we had a wonderful time! Now Sean and I are hoping to get some bikes and a bike trailer.


Carolyn mentioned she got her bike trailer used at a Bike Store, for $50 so I might look around and see what I can find :) I can't wait, I will love being able to ride around, and also be able to ride down to the farmers market on the weekend and stock up on our fruits and veggies :)
