Aubee

Ryan has been loving when Aubrey comes over to visit. Monday and Tuesday he walked around the house saying, "Aubee, are you?" It was so cute. So he was really excited when I told him that she was coming over today.

This morning I tried waking him up early to see her, but that was a no go. Just like his father, impossible to wake up, haha! I took down the baby gate to his room so when he did wake up, he could just come downstairs on his own.

Finally around 7:30 he came down the stairs, all the while enthusiastically yelling "Aubee! Aubee!!"

They are playing much more together these days, instead of just playing near each other.

This afternoon they were chasing each other around and doing some exploring through the little trees we have out back. Then they were going through the garden and decided to lay down in the concrete bath (supposed to, or maybe once was, part of a homemade pond). They would look up at the sky and see the birds and the trees and they would just giggle. So adorable. I am just so glad he has someone his age to share this with. It really makes me melt.

Aubrey would call over to me, "We are gonna lay down now, ok!" I would tell her ok, and then I would hear Ryan going "night-night!" And pretend snoring. That would create more and more giggles. They did this for quite a while. Too bad my cameras batteries are dead. I was so bummed. I am going to try and see if I can get some for next time.

Then they discovered the joys of jumping in a pile of leaves. They were having so much fun, laughing away, we didn't notice right away that Sara had come to get Aubrey. Aubrey decided she was having too much fun and didn't want to go home, but we promised her that the leaves would be here for the next time.
