So busy!!

Things have been SO crazy busy for us this month. I know Chelsea knows what I mean :P The Llama team has a deadline, so we have all been busy, me doing my part by doing some maps for them. Anywho, that's why I haven't been updating very frequently.

I will do a couple posts in one tonight :)

Ryan's birthday last Wednesday went well. I still can't believe my baby is 2 now! How time sure does fly. I still call him baby, though some people tell me, he isn't a baby anymore. Bah! He is still MY baby!

We went out for ice cream, and let him go to town feeding himself. We ended up needing to strip him down to his diaper for the car ride home, but he had a wonderful time eating away!

Last Friday I brought Ryan and Ellie to the beach because it was one of the few days in a long while that it was actually sunny and warm. We got there around 10 and it was perfect timing because it was still relatively emptyish and it was so easy to get a great parking space. The kids had a great time, and played for a couple hours and we came home, got the kids bathed, had lunch and then Ryan napped. I did learn, however, to make sure to put sunscreen on myself, not just the kids.. ouch!

Today we had a busy day. Nico went and stayed with his mom at the Fish Market, so it was just Ryan, Ellie and I. The morning was another dreary one, so we went to the Children's Museum for a couple hours. The kids LOVE it there, though it is kind of challenging having two kids that are developmentally so far apart. It's hard to watch them both when they want to play with two different things! Plus it was pretty busy there today too, and although it's a lot bigger than it used to be when it was in Portsmouth, it is still small when it's packed! Not nearly as bad as it was on Curious George day. Holy moly, was it packed that day...

Anyway... we came home, had lunch, rested while Ryan napped, then we went to the park for a couple of hours and Ellie ran into a friend from school so she was just so happy! Ryan loves to just run there. He runs and runs and runs some more. He has such a great spirit.

When we got home, we had to go pay the Emergency Vet bill, so we went to Portsmouth, and decided to splurge and have dinner at Panara Bread. It was so good, and Ryan was so well behaved. We got a booth right near where you order food, and Ryan had a great time making new friends when people came up to order their food. He ever reached out and poked a guy on the back, and surprised him, oops! The guy was really nice about it, and he even said his name was Ryan too. It was kind of funny. When it slowed down, Ryan would play peek-a-boo with the woman behind the counter who took the orders. Oh, and he did pretty well sitting at the booth tonight. He really wants to be a big kid lately, and doesn't want to use high chairs or boosters. I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

I got him some flash cards this weekend for his ABC's because he seems so interested in learning them this past week. He knows what an "E" is, and if I ask, he will point it out for me. So we are learning 3 at a time, I didn't want to overwhelm him. He just gets tickled pink when I ask him to find the "A" and he does, I say "Yay! Good job!" and he claps his hands and says "Yay!" with a big smile on his face :)

Wow, this ended up so much longer than I thought! Anyway, talk to you all soon!
