Coffee break

Ryan loves coffee, he must be like his dad. If we leave a mug of it where he will get it, he will try to grab it. Lately though he is more sneaky and waits for us to get up and then he will carry it off to a safe place where he can drink it to his little hearts content. We have gotten better about it, but sometimes things are too crazy.

Well this morning, we were getting ready to put Ryan down for a nap and I was upstairs on the computer. Ryan was in the room with me, and he was just hanging out being a good boy. I went to get ready to take a shower and Sean came up to put Ryan down for a nap. Sean looked on his desk and decided to take down some dirty dishes that he had.

Sean came back up and I heard him go, "OH NO! Ryan, what did you do?!?" So of course I come running to see what the matter was. Coffee was EVERYWHERE. All over Sean's desk, his keyboard, mouse, floor. It was a mess. Sean had missed yesterdays coffee cup, and of course Ryan has radar for it, so it was the first thing he went for when we were both out of the room.

So Sean had to clean it all up, and take his keyboard apart to clean it out. Luckily, he thinks everything is ok. But tonight when Sean was putting it back together (it was on the dining room table), Ryan found the screws and stuff and sent them flying. Poor Sean, so much work on his computer today. Ryan did settle down and tried to help Sean put it all together. So now we know, never, ever, leave coffee lying around when Ryan is nearby.
