Caylee's Meet and Greet Party

Today was the official meet and greet party for Caylee. Her mom, Crystal, decided not to have a baby shower with Caylee because she was getting a lot of stuff from family already. So, we had a nice day outside with family and enjoyed each others company and got to oooh and ahhh at a cute baby, how awesome to spend a day!

She is now 7 weeks old, it doesn't even seem possible! Seems like it was just April 16th last week! She sleeps so much, it's amazing. I don't think Ryan ever slept that much. And she is already sleeping through the night!


At one point Caylee got really hungry and wanted her bottle and Mommy was away getting something. Her brother Coby jumped into action, knowing exactly what to do. He got her bottle ready, and then fed her, taking care to burp her occassionally. What a great big brother!


Ryan was having a great time playing with the other kids and hanging out with the guys. It was a nice break for me, Ryan wanted to be with Daddy most of the day, so I got to sit and talk with the Sara, Crystal and Angela for most of the time we were there. I don't get many sit uninterrupted times, so it was a nice time.

All the guys at the party were over with the woodpile while Tim and DJ split the logs. Each guy took a turn splitting the wood, and it was amazing how much they got done. Ryan spent most of his time climbing on the wood pile.



Ryan was having a great time playing, and well, dancing and making a lot of noise on the bulkhead to the cellar. Then he got Aubrey into it, too. Then she fell, and she didn't want to dance on it anymore. Poor girl, can't say I blame her. Ryan of course, kept right on dancing.

Eventually as the day wore on, Ryan discovered that you could SLIDE down the bulkhead instead, so he and Aubrey did that as everyone was saying their goodbyes.
