Thanksgiving Weekend

Ryan looking outside through the binoculars.

We tried really hard to get the two of them together for a picture, and this is seriously the best one I got.

Ryan was already starting to get tired, before we had even started dinner. See my Grammy in the pic, she is so darn cute!

Thanksgiving was fun, and busy as usual. We had our usual 2 dinners in one day, which is admittedly easier now that Ryan can handle not having a nap everyday. He had fun playing with his cousin Ryder, who is going to be 6 this December. Poor Ryder was scared of Ryan because Ryan was running around, yelling and roaring like a bear, and just being a boy. Go figure my 2 year old son scares a kid twice his age, haha.

But dinner at both places was good, albeit a little daunting eating all that food in one day. Ryan had fun playing with a pair on binoculars that my aunt had, and he sat there for quite a while just peering outside.

My Mother in Law went to do Black Friday shopping in North Conway this year because we had heard that it's not as crazy to shop there as some other outlets. They were right! We left here at 4am, got up there around 5:30 and left North Conway around 1. Shopped around at a few stores on the way home, and got home around 6. We were exhausted. Sean had Ryan on Friday so I didn't have to worry about having to carry a 2 year old shopping for a long period of time. We did well, I am almost done shopping now, which is great considering it is just now December.

Saturday we hit more stores because some stores were having a 2 day sale, and hey $5 movies are always a plus. We hit up Best Buy and Kohls in Portsmouth and got some Christmas movies and mommy a new pair of sneakers because well after camping this year and getting a little close to the fire, they were pretty well dead.

Sunday we went to see Buster for his congratulatory "Riverdance Sendoff" It's so cool that someone in our family is in Riverdance! Plus Crystal was there with Coby and Caylee, so I got my baby fix in.

It was a great weekend, but super busy and Sean and I were actually looking forward to Monday so we could have a chance to sit at home and rest a little.

Now I just have to start getting Christmas cards done, and wrapping and mailing packages. Such a busy time of year, but I love it! Especially now that Ryan is older and is starting to get into the Christmas spirit.
