We got there, and Ryan was very shy at first. He didn't want to go on any cars or trucks and seemed just kind of spooked by the whole event. We walked around and decided to get lunch since it started at noon. After eating, he was much more interested in everything and finally started playing on and in the trucks.
He loved this little train that had a Thomas decor inside. He kept calling it a bus, and we would tell him that it was a train, but he was adamant that it was a bus. He loved that train and we had a hard time convincing him that we needed to go something else for a while so other kids could use the train too.
He still seemed scared of most of the big trucks that were there, but he liked the police car, school bus, and the hummer.
He got a little foam Waste Management truck from the garbage man, and he hated the loud truck, like shaking he was so scared of it, but looooooved his little truck that they gave him. He was giving it a hug, it was so cute!
I think next year he will be a little more into it, and perhaps a little less intimidated by the loud trucks.
