Last week, Ryan discovered that he could undress himself. I put him down for a nap fully clothed, and then upon hearing a strange noise, I went to check on him and he was fully naked.
I laughed, and I took him out of his room so Sean could see what he had done. Instead Ryan ran into the bathroom and stood at the toilet like he wanted to go! I was like OH OH OH! I mean, if you have ever seen me try to change this boys diaper, you would understand my excitement. It is a strange combination of hog-tying and wrestling an alligator.
I have potty trained boys before from when I worked at the daycare. I knew that most aren't ready until at least 3, so it wasn't even something I was going to push until he seemed more ready. But hey if he wants to try, I was like lets do it!
Sean's mom still had a collapsible potty lid thingy to go onto a normal seat, so she brought that over and let him use it. Before that, he seemed to be in fear that he would fall in, so nothing much ever happened. He seemed to like being on the toilet, but he didn't do anything on it. And hasn't had any interest since then. But I got some good pictures anyway :)
