Banana Bread Day!

Well, we decided to make a banana bread today after seeing that the bananas were close to gone by. I figured it would be a fun and different activity to do with Ellie and when I asked her if she wanted to help me do it, she was very excited. Well, I looked through Carolyn's cookbooks, but couldn't find one that was for banana bread. So, I went online and looked up a recipe there that was kid friendly and easy. Voila! We had a great time making it, she did everything herself, I just guided her to add what and the amounts. We put it in the oven to bake at the recommended 55 minutes, and then when I took it out, it was relatively burnt. So, the end result was a bust, but leading up to it was fun!


After Nico got home from school, we played Tag outside for a good 45 minutes until we were all exhausted from running around. Ryan and Nico did stop to have a little heart to heart, I just love how well the kids all get along :)
