Continuation of posts

I found I am too busy to be able to update the blog every day, so I figured I would do a huge post once a week. Still take pictures every day, but I just can't seem to find time every day to be able to post. So where did I leave off:

Day 7:

After a day or two of really faint lines on the regular pregnancy tests, I went out and got one that would eliminate the need to read into the lines.

I am being cautiously excited right now. I know they told me loosing the last baby was a fluke thing and that it probably won't happen again, but it's still hard not to worry. Not sure when I will get to see a doctor yet, but my morning sickness is pretty bad, so that's reassuring. Tentative due date Sept. 12th, 2010.

Day 8:

Ryan still doesn't need naps, so he informs me. This is what I find at 6:00 in the evening when he doesn't have naps (don't mind his jammies, it was a lazy day...)

Day 9:

We went to visit with my cousin, his wife, and their son Ryder. Ryder had gone through his older toys and donated them to Ryan. It was funny, Ryan had fallen asleep in the car, so he didn't really get to play with the toys until the next morning. He was so excited, it was like another Christmas!

Day 10:

It had been so cold last week that Ryan had spent a lot of time inside the house, and so I decided we needed a change a scenery so we headed down to the mall and let him play on the indoor kiddie playground there. He had a good time, but he was ready to go after about an hour. It was really busy there, I somehow don't think I was the only parent thinking about doing the same thing.

Day 11:

We went to Chuck E Cheese with Aubrey and Sara for the first time. Ryan seemed really overwhelmed for most of the time, but I kind of expected that. It was a very bright place with flashing lights and moving rides, it's all stuff that he hasn't really been exposed to before. They do have a neat little indoor playground that he liked. There was a big slide that you have to climb up these big stairs, and I thought he would really like doing that since he loves to climb, but I think he was just not too ready to try to do it alone and wanted me to go with him, which wasn't possible. Maybe next time he will like it more.

Day 12:

This was just a stay at home, catch up on housework, and play outside sort of day. It was finally not freezing outside, so we went out to play. Still, he gets cold after an hour or so, so we don't play long, but it's enough to get some energy out. I gotta get him a sled still! We looked at Wal-Mart and they of course are sold out of the cheap little kiddo ones. Ryan and Aubrey both love to sit on these cynder blocks that are behind our shed. Conviently there are two there, so there is a seat for each. Ryan was trying to get me to sit on the other one, and I had to remind him that mommy won't fit back there, lol.

Day 13:

Ryan was finally able to get his playdate in with the Nadeau's. We tried last week, and I ended up waking up with a cold, so we rescheduled for this week. Ryan loves his buddy Mac, every time we are going somewhere, he says, "Play with Mac!" If I tell him that we are leaving the house, it's "Play with Mac?" It's pretty funny. He and Mac are about 4 months apart, with Mac being the older of the two. They are like two peas in a pod. I sense a good friendship forming between the two. Mac's two sisters, Riley and little miss Lileigh were there as well, and they all seemed to have a good time. Egg salad was unfortunately, not a hit amongst any of the 4 kids, but Lileigh.

Day 14:

Not too much new to report, we went and played with Ellie but I forgot my camera. So what I figured I would do, is show you Ryan's new quilt that my grandmother made for Ryan for Christmas! It is so super soft, it's made with flannel and has the cutest monkeys on it. And then there is his pillow case that my mom made for him with even more monkeys on it! Can you tell he likes monkeys yet?
